Is it true that it is sometimes a bad idea to open a tablet and dump the contents into a glass of water?
I’m talking about the tablets that come in pill form. (The two colours)
I’m not sure where I read this before, or even of the veracity of this claim, hence my asking.Are there some tablets that come in delayed release form? (Not sure of the term) What I mean by this is that one side of the pill is released in the stomach straightaway, but the other half takes a while before it is released, due to the particular design of the pill coating?
You should always take the tablets as directed….some have to be taken with food. There is a reason for all these directions, as you have described….so they are designed to work best when taken as directed. Always read the notes that come with them….some items such as grapefruit juice can affect the tablets.
